Your day will begin with a visit to Wilson Creek Winery; a family affair and joint effort by all involved, from the patriarch of the family Gerry to Cabernet the dog. Warm and friendly, comfortable yet exhilarating, simple yet elegant, all inspirations were developed by every one of the family members. All coming from corporate backgrounds, they put their unique experiences together to create one magical winery! After a tasting (including the famous almond champagne) and private tour, you'll enjoy a picnic lunch and free time to stroll through the graceful gardens filled with roses and flowers. Next you'll visit Mount Palomar Winery, a fine wine estate dedicated to making wines of distinctive taste and high quality. Located among rolling hills and mesa lands at 1,400 feet elevation, Mount Palomar is a working wine estate with 40 acres of producing vineyards overlooked by the Palomar Mountain range. Mount Palomar makes a range of fine wines with special emphasis on classic, Bordeaux style blends and Italian varieties. Here you'll enjoy a private Barrel Tasting, served in the Cava de Vino, including tastes of their best vintage wines, along with their best selling Port and Sherry.
